WHAT: playing a guitar
WHERE: first video: inside the private garden Giardino Corsi (open to the public only on few and special occasions – it was made a really kind exception for us!). It’s considered the first example of a romantic garden in Florence (Italy); second video: on a corner terrace of Palazzo Pitti, at Piazza de’ Pitti (Florence, Italy).
WHEN: 7 January 2012
WHY: It was a late night when CCT run into Paulo. He was walking with some friends towards Santo Spirito, playing his guitar and singing. We couldn’t avoid stopping in front of his smile and glee. It was too dark to record a video that time, so we decided to meet again. And we met on a bright Saturday afternoon. The sun light was so yellow it coloured everything of gold, inlcuding Paulo’s guitar and hair. Those gipsy sounds, mixed with a soft urban noise, were a splendid gift of grace and delicate joy.
