Archivio Appennino: progetti che valorizzano le terre alte d’Italia
ITALIA Questo spazio, per adesso una semplice pagina web, raccoglie luoghi e persone che valorizzano Cultura – Creatività – Territorio dell’Appennino italiano. Vogliamo qui condividere buone pratiche, da piccoli esperimenti a realtà consolidate, con l’obiettivo di favorire lo sviluppo di quella “rete competente e multidisciplinare per la valorizzazione della spina dorsale d’Italia” di cui parlano Marco, Erika e Filippo, il gruppo di studentə dell’Università di Bologna (corso PROGESA) con il quale, a inizio anno 2021, abbiamo avviato il progetto Appennino senza confini. PUGLIA, ITALIA | A Tu Per Tour è il racconto della Puglia che noi di CCT – come vi abbiamo più volte dimostrato, ad esempio nel nostro reportage sul “Salento Lento” – più amiamo scoprire e vivere; è la storia dei suoi piccoli preziosi centri e delle realtà fuori dai percorsi di massa, di quei luoghi meno turistici e più autentici. Ecco perché abbiamo immediatamente accettato l’invito a collaborare come media partner del progetto! Ed ecco qui che finalmente ve lo presentiamo… intervistando le due menti creative che hanno dato vita all’idea: Eleonora Tricarico (che già conosciamo in quanto CCTraveller!) e Francesca Borgia, due giovani donne e professioniste che hanno a cuore il presente e futuro della loro terra.

SEETIES Now we let ourselves be inspired by the birthday gift received from Barcelona, the city where CCT – 10 years ago – began its journey. A map of the world (in cork) on which to mark one’s steps, those already made but especially those still to accomplish. Tourists VS Locals: maps of the most photographed places in the major cities of the world
SEETIES In 2010, Erich Fisher used open data to create these maps. Tourist destinations, cities and places, change every year and it would be interesting to compare this visual research with an updated version. It would also be interesting to use these data and their visualisation to help mass tourism to spread in the territories with the mission on the one hand to make too touristy cities more liveable for citizens and on the other hand to promote places like suburbs, forgotten neighbourhoods or villages suffering from depopulation. “Tourists VS Locals” is becoming an increasingly important issue worldwide and we should learn to use creativity also to try to create possible solutions to this contemporary urban tension that someone call overtourism or tourismphobia.
