Lemuria | Style Metamorphosis

Michele Moricci

MILANO In 2005, italian stylist and designer Susanna Gioia develops her idea of polymorphic style abandoning all preconceived notions of style and the dictates of fashion to create the project Lemuria. Her collections arise as a need for exploration of freedom and free expression of themselves. Introduced in a market still fasting for stylistic evolution of conceptual shape changes Lemuria, deals with needs, satisfies desire and represents the convertible clothing and a unique way to be different.

The indipendent philosophy gives Lemuria individualism rooted in the modern style and in the ancient. The collections represent a continuum that goes beyond the stylistic trends and changes in our society, however, follow the unique sensations of the wearer, because Lemuria clothes are timeless, suitable for any occasion.

The clothes become a game for Susanna Gioia who transforms the common dressing in an experimental moment of creativity. For this reason the clothes are accompanied by DVD featuring the videos showing numerous “metamorphosis”: until 10 different clothes with the same dress!

Strictly “made in Italy”,  the designer produces her collections in the family business in the manufacture of fashion since 1975 and with important collaborations such as Moschino, Armani, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana – to ensure customers quality and production anchored in the Italian tradition. Reviewed by The Times, The Independent UK and included among the “140 Best Young Designers” by Vogue Italia, Lemuria can not be missing in your closet.
