FIRENZE In a beautiful spring sunny day, there is nothing better than a great outdoor picnic. Especially if it is “eco” and “zero km”. It is a today’s needs of the individual to make sustainable choices, consciousness eating and carefully select the foods and their origin. After the success of last year, Heyart Cultural Association and Cecilia Caeroli Fead in collaboration with the Horticultural Garden of Florence re-invite you to an delicious eco picnic not to be missed.
In a bucolic atmosphere, the elegant garden which is home to the ancient florentian’ greenhouse made of glass and steel dated 1852, some locals of bio and zero miles pruducts offer a gourmet homemade picnic lunch on Sunday 26th May 2013 (at 1pm). Whole wheat pasta, slices of spicy pie, craft beer, seasonal fruits and homemade cakes in a single Kit (15€) with a towel for relax and included many small surprises. A perfect Sunday brunch in Florence, immersed in one of the small green areas scattered in the Tuscan capital. A friendly folk to socialize outdoors enjoying homegrown delights in the city center.
