PRATO After the incredible ‘Grand Tour’ of last year, we want to continue to explore the places of industrial archeology in Tuscany, together with TAI – Tuscan Art Industry! And this year we’ll try to involve both “CCTravellers” and “Local Hosts”. Reason why, in addition to shortly present you the program of TAI 2018 (from 20 October to 20 November), we simultaneously launch two “CALLS”: one for all the creative curious travellers of the World and another for the inhabitants of Prato who’ll want to host the #CCTravellers in their city!

PALERMO In the Sicilian capital to explore and tell the city together with the #CCTravellers2018 – we also took part in the opening days of #Manifesta12 dedicated to the press… So, before publishing and sharing the stories by the #CCTravellers who were in particular inspired by the European nomadic biennial for contemporary art, we’ll try to tell you in brief what #MANIFESTA is in its 12th edition (open until 4th November 2018). #SeeCity #Palermo2018

Ultimi Fuochi Festival

LECCE Un nuovo festival teatrale a basso impatto ambientale, i cui spettacoli sono illuminati dagli ultimi raggi di sole e tenuti in luoghi immersi nella natura, isolati dal turismo di massa. Questa prima edizione va in scena dal 3 al 28 agosto (2018) in diversi luoghi della campagna salentina, luoghi che resteranno segreti e che potranno essere raggiunti tramite le apposite navette. Chi è curioso legga il programma e chi è in Salento partecipi! 😉

REGGIO EMILIA Per l’edizione 2018 di Fotografia Europea, Comò Mag. propone un viaggio tra visioni utopiche e scenari surreali che avrà due tappe: la collettiva Vita da Igers – Ribellione dai Toni Pastello presso l’Atelier ViaDueGobbiTre (fino al 5 maggio) e la personale di Charlie Davoli – Retrospettive del domani presso Vicolo Folletto Comò Space (fino al 17 giugno). In Calabria, terra bagnata da due mari, punto di passaggio per la soleggiata Sicilia e madre di vicende millenarie, si snodano una serie di avventure che in pochi considerano. PISTOIA in 2017 was the Italian Capital of Culture and @Igers_Pistoia during the year, through Instagram, has involved citizens and not in the photographic and social storytelling of the city, suggesting a new theme every fifteen days or rather a “photographic challenge”. On over 500 photographs collected, more than 80 have been selected and from tomorrow (27th February) they’ll be on display (until 10th March) in the atrium of the Palazzo Comunale (in Piazza del Duomo, 1). Among these, also some photos shared by the #CCTravellers2017!

TANKWA TOWN In the semidesert Karoo – halfway along the R355, a 250km untarred road between Calvinia and Ceres in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa (that means on the longest stretch in the country without petrol stations, nearby assistance, phone signal) – there is a magic place: a temporary city that every year since 2007 appears and disappears in just one week.
