The Stolen Phone Tour

SHANGHAI “Time Out Shanghai” is a magazine that provides cultural information, valuable ally for sightseeing. The editorial staff decided to demonstrate the usefulness of their work in an unconventional way and gave birth to a no bad marketing idea.

A cell phone abandoned on the street, a passerby picks it up and here begins a series of SMS – (starting from “Are you trying to steal our phone?”) – with instructions and directions to return it passing through the most curious museums in the city, the most exclusive restaurants, the best street food truck and an historic jazz club. All filmed and here’s the proof: following the editorial staff’s advices, you can discover special places otherwise hidden and make a different experience of the city.
