HUMAN, interviews with human beings

“I am one man among seven billion others. For the past 40 years, I have been photographing our planet and its human diversity, and I have the feeling that humanity is not making any progress. We can’t always manage to live together. Why is that? I didn’t look for an answer in statistics or analysis, but in man himself.” – Yann Arthus-Bertrand

French photo-reporter and environmentalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand spent 3 years collecting real-life emotional stories in 63 languages from 2.020 women and men, in 60 countries. Those emotions, tears and smiles, struggles and laughs are the ones uniting us all. “Human” is made up of 200 incredibly personal portraits. Interviews with people from all walks of life. You can watch the 3 volumes of HUMAN on YouTube and experience #WhatMakesUsHUMAN:
