FIRENZE Think Benci is a collective of designers who organize and promote cultural events at Pensione Bencistà in Fiesole. And now its mission is called Design With A View (5/6/7 July 2013), the second edition of a weekend made of conferences and workshops in collaboration with UAL: University of the Arts London – Central Saint Martins but also of encounters, launches and happy hours, in a very special contest. An occasion to teach and learn about Design with an unique view.
The festival promotes the dialog and the international exchange, through a community of designers that think over the design’s methods and actions for the social and territorial innovation. Among the guests who’ll speak about the urban graphic and aesthetic, also our friend and famous street artist Clet.

LOCATION Pensione Bencistà is a three-star hotel in the small town of Fiesole near Florence, Italy. Situated in an historic XIV century villa, the Simoni family have run the hotel since 1927. A rich cultural history has imbued the villa and hotel with strong intellectual, artistic and musical values. The quiet charms of Pensione Bencistà have inspired creative thinkers for generations. Honouring this tradition, the Simoni family have hosted artists and musicians, resulting in numerous concerts and exhibitions in their grounds. Traces of the many artists’ presence hang on the walls and sit on the mantles, symbols of their inspiration and gratitude that this place continues to preserve.
