About Amber L White
I am a writer, thinker, painter, pen & ink doodler, and burlesque starlet by trade. Seattle & Chicago are my homes. My pen-name is A/L White, best described as the lady Vulcan lovechild of the Beat Generation's Bill Burroughs & modern pop-culture phenom Chuck Palahniuk. I bring a new voice of truth to the underworld of underdogs. By sensing not only the pervasive paranoia of millennial culture, but also the deep desire to find genuine meaning in the seemingly meaningless entertainment-centric American lifestyle, the voice of A/L White provides both empathy and answers to the neo Lost Generation.
I have been published in Hair Trigger 37, Columbia College Chicago's premiere short story anthology, for the piece "Post-Nasal Drip." A subsequent Gold-Circle Award winning piece in the Essay Category for annual collegiate publications, as judged by the Scholastic Press Association in New York.
