LONDON, Architecture at play
Architect Frida Escobedo has been commissioned to design the Serpentine Pavilion 2018 in Hyde Park. The visitor gets enchanted of subtle interplay of light, water and geometry, reflections and mirroring effects. There are surprises everywhere and the more time one spends in the pavilion the more one enjoys it. At times one looses sense where the walls begin and where do they end. The sky and the dancing clouds reflect themselves in the water. Light comes from everywhere – from the top and the side, the shadows move all the time. Dark and light cohexist in a natural way. All feels like a fairy tale.
It is beautiful, inspiring, refreshing and simply wonderful. Definitely worth visiting if you are in London before 7thOctober 2018.
