A visual reflection on the idea of the beach as a place where contemporary society retreats, to get rid of stress. The empty bins are used as a symbol for the intangible nature of stress yet the concrete need to dispose of it.
BRESCIA Lake Iseo, Sulzano – Monte Isola. Bulgarian artist Christo and his wife Jeanne-Claude have dared to wrap and transform monuments and landscapes throughout the world. For sixteen days – 18 June to 3 July 2016 – Christo’s latest project “The Floating Piers” reinterprets Lake Iseo in Italy. The installation offers the unique experience of walking on water.
