One Place

ONE PLACE Project is and idea by CCT-SeeCity.

The idea is really simple. CCT asks architects to describe ONE PLACE of the city they live and work in.

WHY?

1 – CCT is always looking for “places”. CCT means true places, places with an identity, exactly the opposite of those called “non-places” by the French anthropologist Marc Augé.

2 – Architecture is the city’s body (with a visible soul). Architecture is the first city’s identity that people see. Architecture is extremely fascinating because it aims to beauty, to harmony and at the same time to functionality. Architecture is strongly significant because of his interconnection to the local society, history, culture.
