“Random walks” of five immigrants in Budapest

Borbála Tompa

-SYNOPSIS-
The visual world rests on interviews, the sound of which follows through the film as a narrative. We follow the story of five immigrants in Budapest, two of whom still lives here as refugees. We touch upon various levels of their refugee life from the banal to the very severe. In economic theory, random walk means that stock market prices cannot be predicted. Thus, each time, the price had a fifty-fifty chance of closing higher or lower than the previous day.
