LONDON Sapete quanto ci è caro il progetto The Midnight Run. Per il nuovo anno 2015, che sta per iniziare, abbiamo grandi sogni a riguardo e faremo tutto il possibile perché diventino realtà. Questo video, che abbiamo voglia di condividere con voi adesso, è stato realizzato lo scorso Natale e si tratta del primo “Mini Christmas Midnight Run” organizzato da Inua Ellams insieme al Southbank Centre. “Mini” perché – a differenza di tutti gli altri Midnight Runs che si svolgono solitamente nelle stagioni più calde – è durato solo sei ore (invece di dodici: un MNR inizia alle 6 della sera e si conclude alle 6 del mattino seguente).
Con questo video, semplicemente vero ed emozionante, vogliamo augurare Buone Feste a tutti voi ma soprattutto… un Felice Anno Nuovo a tutti i sognatori come noi! A chi sogna ad occhi aperti e non smetterà mai di vedere il mondo come lo immagina e crea!

The idea behind the Midnight Run is simple, to negate the frenzy and hysteria of mass media and reality t.v. for actual reality; for the simplicity of walking and talking. To reclaim the streets and rediscover a city after dark, to inhabit its confines of glass, concrete, steel and structure, as a child does a maze; with as much innocence and wonder as is natural. In the Midnight Run’s motto, ‘star’ can be taken literally, or as a metaphor for the city, dwellers, in which case it takes on a beauty and importance:
